This shop is tops! The owner is involved in estimates, explanation of repairs and sometimes even in the repairs themselves. Have taken my cars there since 1995 and never been disappointed.

My car was overheating about 20 miles from the shop and they came and bailed me out (bottled water in the radiator) and followed me as I slowly drove to the shop for diagnosis......they have come to my home to jump/charge the battery so I didn't have to be towed.....even though it's expensive to fix my car, the repairs are always explained thoroughly and why the cost seems high (I guess even mechanics have to eat meat with their macaroni and cheese sometimes!!) the owner has bailed me out when I thought my steering column was frozen and the car wouldn't start, when in fact as he came to rescue at the 'mall', all I needed to do was turn my steering wheel a little to unlock the ignition (boy, did I feel like a bozo!) This shop has been family run since 1995 and has a reputation in the community as one of integrity, honesty and certified repairs you can trust! Owners name is Tom and he stands behind his repairs, desiring every customer to be a satisfied one.

I first found Burrough & Sons on Yahoo and what everybody had said is true, you will not be disappointed...Not only is their service methodical and impeccable but they are real nice... This is the second time I had service done here on my Ford Ranger and what can I say but I have finally found a great automotive repair shop in the east bay .... Thumbs UP!
